California has finally gotten a TON of rain this winter, which has us craving some sunny days! Isn’t it funny how we always want what we don’t have? If it’s raining, we want the sun. If it’s sunny, we want some rain. Anyways, during winter, it was apparent that spring 2017 was going to focus heavily on pastel floral prints; specifically, in light shades of blue.
Wrap dresses have been popping up everywhere!…Especially baby blue floral wrap dresses. Fashion bloggers have been spotted wearing this style and print while gearing up for spring. This silhouette is sophisticated and versatile, allowing you to wear it casually or dressed up. Personally, I found mine at Francesca’s! It has a romantic look and I love that I can wear it to brunch or even a summer wedding later on.
I’ve personally had a week that has tested me on many levels. How I deal with a situation that doesn’t go my way, how I communicate, how to stand tall, and fight for what I believe in. What better way to learn these lessons and accomplish these goals than doing so while feeling confident? For me, what I’m wearing helps my raise my confidence! It sounds silly and questionable, but it’s true, and I know others feel the same way. When I’m dressed well, it makes me happy. When I’m lazy and dressed sloppy, it can really have a negative affect on my mood. This particular dress and heels (of course) helped wash away the negative vibes that were surrounding me and honed in on the positivity that I needed.
Crazy how an OUTFIT can change your outlook and way of thinking, right? Scroll through the pictures, to the bottom, to see where you can get these pieces that I featured: Francesa’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, J.Crew, and Rebecca Minkoff.
